Can you help?

We are trying to find homestay hosts for around 30 singers from the Oxford University ‘Schola Cantorum’. The singers will be performing in St Mary's Church at the start of their UK Tour, and the concert will take place on Tuesday 13 September 2016 at 7:30 p.m.

Hosts will be expected to collect their guests at the end of the concert, provide them with a light supper, put them up overnight, provide breakfast and return them to the church at around 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday 14 September. There is more information about the choir at www.schola-cantorum.net/about.html.

Please let Jane Williams know as soon as possible if you can help with accommodation. Jane can be contacted on email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or telephone: 07776 273 781. The students will be very grateful. And the choir is outstanding!

3D Course

The 3D Course is the Diocesan course for Developing Disciples. It is a course for those who are already confirmed and established in their faith and church membership and would like to explore their faith further. There are 30 weekly sessions held in different venues in and around Birmingham, beginning in September 2016 and finishing in June 2017. Applicants for the course need to have their Vicar's signature on the application form, so if you feel this may be for you, please contact Hazel via the benefice office for further details. We can also put you in touch with someone who has done the course if you would like to find out more. The closing date for this year's applications is Friday 19 August.

Thank You

The Trustees of St Mary Moseley Centenary Organ Fund would like to thank all those who made such a valued contribution to the success of our Appeal Launch evening on Saturday 7 May. Additionally we would thank all those who attended and hope that their enjoyment can be reflected in continuing support for the Appeal and its aims. We have a financial mountain to climb, but we know that we can achieve “Renewing Our Heritage” within reasonable timescale. Thank you once again.
