St Mary’s is looking for help

We need some folk to join the group that looks after our buildings and grounds. If you feel you might have practical skills or the ability to work with others who do, including contractors. Please have a word with Duncan, Hazel or one of the Churchwardens.

Have you ever considered …

… sharing with others in the leadership of the parish? It’s an easier task when it’s shared and we’re looking for folk to join the Church Council at both St Anne’s and St Mary’s. There is a role description on the noticeboard in both churches or have a word with one of the clergy or a Churchwarden. You never know, it might even be fun!

Thought for the Day Volunteers

Are you thinking about doing something more for the benefice this Lent. Would you like to share your thoughts on the week's readings. Why not have a go at writing ‘Thought for the Day’ and sharing it with everyone on the Pew Sheet. It's really great to see different ideas and styles of expression on there and what you share might really help someone else reflect on how God is speaking to them that week or give encouragement. If you are interested, get in touch with Christine McAteer (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or leave a message via the church office.
