Final Hymn – St Mary’s

Advent Sunday marks the beginning of the new liturgical year. At the 10am service at St Mary’s we are introducing a new way of receiving the collection. In the offertory hymn, we will be focussing on the presentation of the gifts of bread and wine. In the final hymn, we will be receiving the collection for the work of the church.

Christmas Day Together 2017

Once again the benefice will be hosting this event at St Anne’s church from 12 noon to 3:30 pm. It is a community event open to all who would otherwise be alone and provides Christmas Lunch, fun and fellowship! Helpers are also needed to provide transport, help with preparations and hosting on the day! Please help to make this special day in the life of the benefice a great success! Please ring the church office on 0121 4492243 or use the sign-up sheets available on the welcome desks in both churches if you would like to attend or can offer help in any way. A special request: Can anyone offer to play the piano for Carol singing at approximately 2:15pm on Christmas Day?
