St Anne's October Charity

embracemelogoSt Anne's charity for October is Embrace the Middle East, a Christian charity which tackles injustice, poverty and exclusion in the Middle East and supports transformational projects which help vulnerable and marginalised people to achieve their full potential. Su McClellan from the charity will be talking to us at our St Anne's 11:00am service on Sunday 22 October about their work and there will be a cake sale in aid of the charity on that day. There will be a plate for donations on the welcome desk at the back of the church throughout October.

Malawi Container

A big ‘thank you’ to everyone and especially to Jill and Terry Adams. The container arrived safely at the end of August, and goods were distributed as planned.

No Messy Church on Sunday 1 October

We’re sorry that due to unforeseen circumstances, we are not able to run Messy Church this coming Sunday afternoon as planned. However, do note the date of the next one on Advent Sunday 3 December, when you are all welcome to come along for activities, worship and food.

Have Your Say on Homelessness

bcft logocrisis logo

Crisis is planning a campaign to end homelessness as part of their 50th anniversary year. Part of this campaign involves a call for evidence that can be submitted via the Crisis logo.

They want to hear from a variety of people and not necessarily those involved directly in homelessness services. Please feel free to contribute as you see fit or to forward this opportunity onto people within your networks who may be interested in getting involved.
