Institution of Incumbent

The Revd Duncan Strathie

On Sunday 16 August 2105 we were very pleased to announce to all congregations the appointment of the next Incumbent of St Mary's and St Anne's, Moseley.

We welcomed the Reverend Duncan Strathie with his wife Katrina at his service of Institution on Monday 19 October 2015.

Ordained in 1997, Duncan served in parish ministry for ten years in the Diocese of Winchester, before spending seven years as Ministry Training Officer & Director of Ordinands in that diocese. Prior to ordination he worked as an executive officer with the Ministry of Defence, as a lay minister with a church in Southampton, and as Director of a charity producing Christian radio programmes. His most recent post prior to coming to Moseley was Coordinator of Learning for Discipleship in the Diocese of Salisbury.

Duncan says:

Katrina Strathie

"I am excited by the opportunity of becoming part of the family of the United Benefice of Moseley and look forward to getting to know folk at St Mary's and St Anne's, the school and in the wider community. Birmingham will be a new part of the world for Katrina and me, and we looking forward to making our home in Moseley and having the chance to explore and enjoy the delights that are on offer. You have all been in my prayers for some time and that will continue as we prepare to serve and worship God together in Moseley and beyond!"
