At the heart of the Baha’i Faith is the belief that Humanity is a single people with a common destiny. Baha’u’llah taught that there is one God who progressively reveals his guidance to Humanity. Each of the great religions brought by Messengers of God — Moses, Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster, Jesus and Muhammad — represents a successive stage in the spiritual development of Civilisation.
From a Baha’i perspective, the Baha’i Faith is the most recent of the world’s great religions. It forms the next link in a progressive chain of important divine teachings that places Baha’u’llah, the founder of the Baha’i Faith, as the messenger of God for this age.
