Choir Newsletter, 24/1/17

Dear All,

Firstly, thank you all so much for your dedication in keeping the flag flying during my absence in SA. It was the trip of a lifetime and it was a reassurance to know that you were all working well with Darren and Colin to ensure our services were well covered. Thank you all.

Now, to the future!

southwell leicesterPlease find attached the form regarding our trip to Leicester and Southwell on Saturday 11 February. I’d be very grateful if you would complete the form and send it – or at least the information - back to Rob Brown (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). Rob has organised a choir coach which will be at no cost to singing members. However, we need to know who is coming AND those who will wish to participate in the Leicester Cathedral Tour and the Visitor Centre experience. These latter two visits will need to be paid for on the day by those who choose them. Please don’t send the form in to the Parish Office or you will be expected to pay for the congregation coach! As this is approaching quickly, your kind attention will be appreciated as a matter of urgency.

If you are NOT intending to participate in the trip, please do send this information to Rob also so he knows that everyone in the team has been accounted for and is not guessing about those from whom he may not have heard. Thanks for your kind attention. Finally, my apologies for any confusion which may have arisen between the dates given before Christmas and the Music List for January. I had, of course, mistakenly omitted January 1st from the music list and had then gone to a four Sunday pattern instead of a five Sunday pattern -Thus everything was one week out with everyone singing on the wrong dates! Put it down to anno domini! Normal service will, hopefully, be restored in February.

All the best, Mick
